Consulting
For medium and large businesses, industrial and commercial campuses, and government bodies.
We help define the problem, design a technology-led solution, and plan how it will be funded, adopted, and maintained.
The Intersections helps governments and organizations design technology solutions that work in policy and in practice. We advise on the strategy, design the solution, and train the people who run it.
We work where technology, policy, and business meet, and we keep people and sustainability at the center of every solution.
Technology built for social good, designed together with policy, so its impact lasts.
We help government bodies and organizations turn social problems into working solutions. We do this through three services, Consulting, Training, and Policy Advisory, and two platforms, Catalyst and TRUST.
Design Thinking begins with the user. Regen Thinking begins with the outcome for the environment and public health, and aims to leave the system better than it was found.
Many organizations treat sustainability as a clean-up task. Waste is managed after it is produced, compliance is checked after a product ships, and emissions are addressed after a plant is running. Regen Thinking moves these decisions to the start of the design, when they cost the least and change the most.

For students and professionals.
Our programs place participants on live problems from our domain labs, so they build practical skills while contributing to real solutions.
For government bodies and organizations.
We review how a proposed solution fits existing policy, procurement rules, and budget cycles, and help shape the guidelines and plans that carry it from pilot to policy.
Two platforms extend our services: TRUST for problems and solutions, Catalyst for learning and careers.
TRUST lists real problems from organizations and government bodies across our domains and connects them to a student community that builds technology solutions. Organizations can adopt a problem as part of their CSR programs. Students, including those from smaller cities and towns, build skills matched to the domain of the problem they work on.
Catalyst has two parts. The Responsible Tech Job Board lists roles in responsible technology, and the learning management system hosts our training courses.
Each domain lab focuses on a defined set of challenges where technology and policy meet.
Cutting waste at the source and keeping materials in use, from households to industry.
Technology that helps farmers earn more while using fewer inputs.
Safer food from farm to plate, through better standards, testing, and traceability.
Clean power that organizations and communities can afford to adopt and maintain.
Tools that cut emissions and prepare cities and businesses for a changing climate.
Technology built with fairness, safety, and accountability from the first design.
Programs that help communities stay well, designed with the people who deliver care.
Tell us about it. We will help you work out whether technology, policy, or both can solve it.
